MLK Lazy River & Tot Pool

16 Mommies & 22 Kids
Martin Luther King Outdoor Pool Play Event
We spent today in Silver Spring, at the Martin Luther King lazy river pool. We had so much fun ~ Getting into inner tubes with the kids, and floating around the pool was so relaxing! Except of course when the water canon blasts you in the head ;-) or you glide under the waterfall!! They also have a cool toddler pool with a mushroom, and several jets that squirt up out of the floor and it gets a little deep - up to 4ft.
The tot pool was the best - fenced in, with a safety gate, and only a few inches deep up to about 1ft deep. Unfortunately for us, a thunderstorm moved in around 3.30pm so our afternoon got cut slightly short!!
Several new mommies joined us for their first event, and we hope we see them again soon! If you are a mom in the Maryland, DC or Virginia area, who would like to get out of the house more, and meet new friends, please check out our free group on meetup.com!
